Job Description
City Point Hotel is seeking a skilled and reliable AC Technician for a full-time position in the Engineering and Maintenance Department in Manama. The AC Technician will oversee the installation, repair, and ongoing maintenance of all heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration systems throughout the hotel property, ensuring uninterrupted guest comfort, optimal climate control in guest rooms and public areas, and the efficient operation of the hotel’s cooling units. Responsibilities include performing planned preventive maintenance on split air-conditioning systems, ducted split systems, packaged units, chillers, and fan coil units in guest rooms, offices, and venue spaces; diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults affecting HVAC and refrigeration systems; repairing refrigerant leaks, replacing faulty compressors, and adjusting system controls as required; responding promptly to guest complaints and work orders raised by housekeeping or the front desk concerning temperature control; monitoring the daily operation of HVAC plant systems, cooling towers, and ventilation equipment; and complying with applicable technical safety standards, proper refrigerant-handling procedures, and environmental control regulations. The requirements for this position are two to three years of proven experience as an AC Technician. Previous experience in the hospitality sector or in commercial building maintenance is preferred.
