Odoo Functional Consultant, Technical Developer
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Odoo Functional Consultant and Technical Developer for a part-time, project-based engagement based in Bahrain or remotely. The role involves configuring and implementing Odoo according to business requirements, setting up and optimizing the Point of Sale, Sales, CRM, Inventory, Accounting, and related modules, developing and customizing Odoo modules and workflows, creating automated processes and customized reports, integrating Odoo with external systems through APIs, troubleshooting technical and functional issues, providing ongoing support and improvements, advising on the best Odoo setup and business processes, and documenting configurations and customizations. Applicants should have strong experience with Odoo, preferably Odoo 19, experience in both functional consulting and technical development, strong knowledge of Odoo workflows and business processes, and knowledge of Python, XML, JavaScript, and the Odoo framework. Experience with API and system integrations is required, while experience with Odoo Point of Sale and Accounting is highly preferred. Candidates must be able to understand business requirements and convert them into Odoo solutions; previous experience with restaurant or Point of Sale implementations is an advantage. The initial work will involve setting up and customizing the system, followed by ongoing support as needed.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Odoo, preferably Odoo 19
- Experience as both a Functional Consultant and Technical Developer
- Strong knowledge of Odoo workflows and business processes
- Knowledge of Python, XML, JavaScript, and the Odoo framework
- Experience with API and system integrations
- Experience with Odoo POS and Accounting is highly preferred
- Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into Odoo solutions
- Previous experience with restaurant or POS implementations is an advantage
