Chemical Dosing Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a Chemical Dosing Technician to work at a drinking water plant in Bahrain. Duties include preparing and mixing water treatment chemicals according to the required ratios and procedures; measuring and controlling chemical dosing levels; operating and monitoring chemical dosing pumps and related equipment; adding and adjusting chemicals according to water quality requirements; monitoring chemical tanks, dosing systems, and treatment equipment; conducting basic water quality checks and recording test results; maintaining accurate records of chemical usage and dosing activities; ensuring the proper handling, storage, and use of treatment chemicals; monitoring the treatment process and reporting abnormalities or issues; following all health, safety, and environmental procedures; maintaining cleanliness and safety in the chemical dosing and treatment areas; and coordinating with the plant operations team to support smooth daily operations.
Requirements
- Experience
- 2 Years
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in chemical dosing, water treatment, or a drinking water plant.
- Practical experience in mixing and preparing water treatment chemicals.
- Good understanding of chemical dosing and correct mixing ratios.
- Experience operating chemical dosing pumps and related equipment is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of water treatment processes and water quality testing.
- Ability to safely handle and store water treatment chemicals.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow chemical dosing procedures accurately.
- Ability to identify and report issues with dosing systems or treatment processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
