Job Description
A reputable accounting and bookkeeping firm in the Kingdom of Bahrain is seeking a skilled and motivated Accountant to join its team. Key responsibilities include independently managing clients’ accounts from bookkeeping through to finalisation, preparing financial statements and year-end schedules, assisting with the preparation of audit files and supporting documents, preparing and submitting National Bureau for Revenue (NBR) VAT registrations and VAT returns, handling related compliance matters, performing bank reconciliations, processing payroll, carrying out other accounting tasks, communicating professionally with clients, and meeting all reporting deadlines. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, two to three years of relevant accounting experience in Bahrain, strong knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel, experience with NBR VAT procedures and financial year-end preparation, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Applicants must currently be available in Bahrain, and candidates who can join immediately will be given preference.
