Job Description
Oversees daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient staff management, high-quality customer service, strong financial performance, and compliance with health and safety standards. The role involves coordinating front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure smooth service and operational efficiency through scheduling, workflow optimisation, and real-time problem-solving during peak hours; recruiting, training, and mentoring employees; setting performance expectations; providing feedback; and fostering a positive workplace culture. Responsibilities also include managing budgets, monitoring profit and loss statements, controlling labour and food costs, tracking sales, approving payroll, maintaining inventory levels, ordering supplies, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost-effective procurement. The manager monitors guest feedback, resolves complaints, and implements strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty, while enforcing health, safety, and sanitation regulations, conducting audits, and ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures. The role also includes developing operational policies, planning for multi-unit or regional operations, aligning daily activities with long-term business goals, and collaborating on menu planning, daily specials, and promotional campaigns to drive sales and strengthen brand reputation.
Requirements
- Education
- Bachelor's Degree In Hospitality, Business Administration, Restaurant Management, Or A Related Field (Preferred)
- Experience
- 10 Years
- More than 10 years of experience in restaurant management.
- Prior experience in restaurant management, multi-unit operations, or supervisory roles is highly valued.
