Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and talented Chef/Cook to join our team at a modern lounge and café in Bahrain. The role involves working in a busy kitchen environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a chef or cook.
- Experience in a healthy café, restaurant, lounge, or similar establishment is preferred.
- Good knowledge of Western, Mediterranean, Arabic, healthy, and café-style cuisine.
- Experience preparing acai bowls, smoothies, salads, toasties, detox juices, hummus, zaatar, labneh, shakshuka, falafel, and shawarma.
- Knowledge of air-frying and other healthier cooking methods.
- Experience preparing sauces, dressings, fillings, and other food items.
- Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistent food quality.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment.
- Creative, organized, and attentive to detail.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
