Job Description
About the Role: We are seeking a proactive IT Systems Administrator to manage, optimize, and secure our Microsoft enterprise environment. In this role, you will be responsible for administering Microsoft 365 services, managing endpoints, and leveraging artificial intelligence and automation tools (such as Power Automate and Microsoft Copilot) to streamline business operations. Key Responsibilities: - Microsoft 365 Administration: Manage user identities, licenses, and access via Microsoft Entra ID (Active Directory) and Microsoft 365 admin centers. - Email & Security Management: Oversee Exchange Online routing and inbound/outbound connectors, and ensure mail security protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) are strictly maintained. - Business Automation: Design, build, and troubleshoot complex workflows using Microsoft Power Automate, including advanced JSON expressions, array filtering, and loop management. - AI Integration & Strategy: Champion the use of AI tools within the business. Implement and manage Microsoft Copilot for M365, guide staff on effective prompt engineering, and identify new areas where AI APIs can reduce manual administrative work. - Endpoint & Infrastructure Management: Deploy and manage hardware, including specialized enterprise equipment such as Point of Sale (POS) devices. Enforce strict naming conventions, Active Directory syncing, and remote management policies. - Support & Troubleshooting: Act as the escalation point for complex technical issues, diagnose hybrid environment sync errors, and ensure cloud-based datasets (such as Fabric, SharePoint, and Excel Online) remain accurate and accessible. Required Qualifications & Skills: - Proven experience administering Microsoft 365 environments, Exchange Online, and Active Directory. - Strong hands-on experience building custom flows in Power Automate, including understanding of dynamic content, expressions, and OData queries. - Solid foundational knowledge of current AI technologies (Generative AI, Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI) and how they integrate into modern business workflows. - Experience with DNS management and email authentication protocols. - Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting multi-step automated processes. - Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical or AI-driven concepts to non-technical staff. Preferred (Bonus) Skills: - Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Dataverse, or SQL endpoint management. - Microsoft Certifications (e.g., MS-900, AI-900, or MS-102).
Requirements
- Proven experience administering Microsoft 365 environments, Exchange Online, and Active Directory.
- Strong hands-on experience building custom Microsoft Power Automate flows.
- Understanding of dynamic content, advanced expressions, JSON expressions, array filtering, loop management, and OData queries.
- Foundational knowledge of current artificial intelligence technologies, including Generative AI, Microsoft Copilot, and OpenAI.
- Understanding of how AI technologies integrate with modern business workflows.
- Experience managing DNS and email authentication protocols, including SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a logical approach to troubleshooting multi-step automated processes.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain technical and AI-driven concepts to non-technical staff.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Dataverse, or SQL endpoint management is preferred.
- Microsoft certifications such as MS-900, AI-900, or MS-102 are preferred.
