Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our hotel maintenance team. The requirements for this position include good knowledge of general maintenance, including electrical work, plumbing, basic AC/HVAC maintenance, painting, carpentry, repairs to furniture, fixtures and fittings, and general hotel maintenance and repairs. The candidate should be able to handle maintenance issues in guest rooms, public areas, hotel facilities, furniture, fixtures and equipment. Knowledge of preventive maintenance, routine inspections, maintenance repairs, and facility and equipment monitoring is preferred. The candidate should be able to communicate politely and professionally with hotel guests and staff. Candidates with experience in electrical work, plumbing, AC/HVAC, carpentry or other maintenance trades are welcome to apply, and preference will be given to multi-skilled candidates. Hotel industry experience, including a minimum of one year, is an advantage.
