Job Description

Urgent hiring in Bahrain for the position of HR Manager. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding. 2. Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state and federal regulations. 3. Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities. 4. Create a compensation strategy for all employees based on market research and pay surveys, and keep the strategy up to date. 5. Investigate employee issues and conflicts and bring them to resolution. 6. Ensure the organization's compliance with local, state and federal regulations. 7. Use performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to the team. 8. Ensure all company HR policies are applied consistently. 9. Maintain company organization charts and the employee directory. 10. Partner with management to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives. 11. Maintain HR systems and processes. 12. Conduct performance and salary reviews. 13. Provide support and guidance to HR staff. 14. Analyze trends in compensation and benefits. 15. Design and implement employee retention strategies. Qualifications: - A Master's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration is required; an MBA in HR is often preferred. - Generally requires 10 to 15+ years of hands-on HR experience (e.g., as an HR Generalist, Specialist, or Coordinator) before advancing to a management position. - Professional certifications validate expertise and are highly regarded by employers, including: 1. SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP (Society for Human Resource Management) 2. PHR or SPHR (HR Certification Institute) 3. CIPD (primarily in the UK and international markets) Core Skills: - Employment Law & Compliance: A thorough understanding of local and federal labor laws to ensure the organization mitigates risk and complies with workplace regulations. - Talent Acquisition & Retention: Experience in sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and implementing strategies to keep top talent engaged. - Compensation & Benefits: Knowledge of how to design and manage payroll, health benefits, and performance-based reward systems.
