Cashier
Job Description
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused cashier to join our food and beverage team. The role involves handling cash, credit card, and other payment transactions accurately; operating the point-of-sale system and processing customer orders efficiently; issuing receipts, refunds, and change as required; maintaining and balancing the cash drawer; providing friendly and professional customer service; assisting customers with menu items, promotions, and payment enquiries; coordinating with the kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth order processing; maintaining a clean and organised cashier counter; following company cash-handling procedures and operational policies; and supporting daily operations as required.
Requirements
- Experience
- 2 Years
- Minimum 2 years of cashier or POS experience.
- Experience in food and beverage is preferred.
- Experience in restaurants, cafés, hotels, supermarkets, or retail is preferred.
- Good numerical and computer skills.
- Previous experience with POS systems.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Fluent English.
- Additional languages are an advantage.
- Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure during busy periods.
- Honest, reliable, and trustworthy.
- Team player with strong attention to detail and a genuine commitment to excellent customer service.
