MEP Construction Supervisor

Job Description: ERA PROJECTS is seeking an experienced MEP Construction Supervisor with a strong background in building construction to supervise and coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, drainage, firefighting, and related MEP works at construction sites. The successful candidate will have hands-on construction project experience and be capable of managing site teams, subcontractors, materials, and daily MEP activities while ensuring that work is completed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules. Responsibilities include supervising and coordinating daily MEP construction and installation activities; overseeing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, drainage, and firefighting works; reading and interpreting MEP drawings, shop drawings, layouts, schematics, and technical specifications; coordinating MEP works with civil, structural, architectural, and finishing teams; supervising technicians, workers, foremen, and subcontractors on site; monitoring manpower, materials, equipment, productivity, and daily work progress; conducting regular site inspections and ensuring proper quality and workmanship; identifying and resolving MEP clashes, installation issues, and site coordination problems; ensuring installations are completed according to approved drawings and project specifications; coordinating testing, commissioning, snagging, and rectification activities; ensuring compliance with HSE requirements, site safety procedures, permit-to-work and PPE requirements; preparing daily progress, manpower, material, and site activity reports; coordinating with MEP Engineers, Project Managers, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers; and ensuring that MEP activities are completed according to project schedules and deadlines. Applicants must hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, MEP Engineering, or a related technical field and have 3–5 years of experience in MEP construction or site supervision. Strong building construction experience is required, while Bahrain construction experience is highly preferred and may be required depending on project needs. Candidates must have hands-on experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems; the ability to read and understand MEP and shop drawings; experience supervising subcontractors and construction site teams; good knowledge of construction site coordination, quality control, and safety requirements; and strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Experience in villa, residential, commercial, or high-rise building projects is an advantage. Candidates must be currently available in Bahrain, and immediate joiners are strongly preferred. Candidates whose experience is primarily in maintenance or facilities management and who have limited hands-on construction experience may not be suitable for this position.
