Civil Construction Supervisor
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Civil Construction Supervisor to supervise and coordinate daily civil construction activities at project sites. Responsibilities include ensuring that construction works follow approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project schedules; supervising site workers, foremen, subcontractors, and construction teams; monitoring manpower, materials, tools, equipment, and productivity; reading and interpreting civil, structural, architectural, and construction drawings; coordinating with Civil Engineers, Project Managers, consultants, subcontractors, and other site teams; supervising concrete, blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, excavation, foundations, and finishing works; conducting site inspections and ensuring proper workmanship and quality standards; identifying site issues, delays, and construction problems and coordinating corrective actions; monitoring progress and preparing daily and weekly site and manpower reports; ensuring the availability of materials and equipment; coordinating inspections, testing, snagging, rectification, and handover activities; ensuring compliance with project specifications, health, safety, environmental requirements, and site safety procedures; maintaining site records, progress updates, and documentation; and supporting the project team in achieving planned construction targets and deadlines.
Requirements
- Education
- Diploma Or Bachelor's Degree In Civil Engineering, Construction, Or A Related Field
- Experience
- 3 Years
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related field preferred
- 3–5+ years of experience in civil construction or site supervision
- Strong hands-on experience in building construction projects
- Experience with villas, residential, commercial, or high-rise construction is an advantage
- Good knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and site procedures
- Ability to read and understand construction and technical drawings
- Strong experience supervising workers, foremen, and subcontractors
- Good knowledge of quality control and construction safety requirements
- Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Good command of English
- Bahrain construction experience preferred
- Ability to independently manage civil site activities
