MEP Site Supervisor
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced MEP Site Supervisor with a strong background in building construction to supervise and coordinate daily mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, drainage, and firefighting activities on construction sites. The responsibilities include coordinating MEP activities with civil, structural, architectural, and finishing teams; reading and interpreting MEP drawings, shop drawings, layouts, and specifications; supervising technicians, workers, foremen, and subcontractors; monitoring manpower, materials, equipment, productivity, and daily site progress; ensuring that installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules; conducting regular site inspections and ensuring quality workmanship; identifying and resolving MEP coordination issues, clashes, and installation problems; coordinating testing, commissioning, snagging, and rectification works; ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and construction safety requirements; preparing daily and weekly progress and manpower reports; and coordinating with MEP Engineers, Project Managers, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors. Applicants must hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, MEP Engineering, or a related field and have three to five or more years of experience in MEP site supervision within the construction industry, including strong building construction experience. Hands-on knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems, the ability to read and understand MEP and shop drawings, experience managing construction teams and subcontractors, and strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills are required. Bahrain or GCC construction experience is preferred, while experience with villa, residential, commercial, or high-rise projects is an advantage. Candidates must currently be available in Bahrain, and immediate joiners are preferred. Candidates whose experience is mainly in maintenance or facilities, without strong construction experience, may not be suitable.
