Job Description

The Corporate Training Adviser works within the Corporate Training and Business Development Department and reports to the General Manager. This is a full-time role. The purpose of the position is to develop and manage relationships with corporate clients, identify their training and workforce development needs, and recommend suitable training solutions. The role combines training consultancy, business development, client relationship management, and corporate sales, with a strong focus on generating new business and maintaining long-term partnerships with organizations. Responsibilities include identifying and approaching potential corporate clients across the private, government, and semi-government sectors; building and maintaining strong relationships with HR departments, Learning and Development teams, Training Managers, and key decision-makers; conducting client meetings and consultations to identify training needs, competency gaps, and workforce development requirements; recommending suitable professional courses, certifications, workshops, and customized training solutions; preparing corporate training proposals, quotations, presentations, and training packages; following up on proposals and enquiries and converting opportunities into confirmed training business; developing customized and in-house training solutions in coordination with trainers and academic and technical teams; maintaining an active pipeline of corporate clients and training opportunities; achieving agreed monthly and annual corporate sales and revenue targets; conducting regular corporate visits, presentations, and business development meetings; maintaining accurate records of clients, enquiries, proposals, follow-ups, and confirmed business through customer relationship management or internal systems; monitoring market trends and identifying new training opportunities based on industry and workforce requirements; promoting professional qualifications, internationally recognized certifications, and government-supported training initiatives where applicable; coordinating with the Operations, Training, Marketing, and Finance teams to ensure the smooth delivery of corporate training programs; following up with clients after training to evaluate satisfaction and identify opportunities for repeat business; developing long-term corporate accounts rather than focusing only on one-time training sales; and representing the institute professionally at exhibitions, conferences, networking events, and corporate meetings.
