Job Description
This position is for an experienced Fashion Designer at a high-end women’s clothing brand located in Riffa, Kingdom of Bahrain. The role focuses on designing women’s wear, including abayas, jalabiyas, evening wear, and ready-to-wear collections. Responsibilities include developing original and inspired designs, creating detailed technical sketches and comprehensive technical specification packs, overseeing the garment sampling process, coordinating with tailors and pattern makers throughout sampling, and selecting suitable fabrics and embellishments such as beading and embroidery. Applicants must be Filipino nationals with two to five years of relevant experience, while previous GCC experience is preferred. Candidates must provide a strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and technical skill, possess knowledge of garment construction and luxury garment finishing, communicate effectively in English, and have basic computer knowledge, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows. The opening was initially described as being for a male Filipino Fashion Designer; however, the candidate requirements state that applications are open to both Filipino male and female candidates.
