Pakistani Cuisine Cook

An experienced Pakistani Cuisine Cook is required to join a cafeteria or restaurant team in Manama. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare a wide range of authentic Pakistani breakfast items (Nashta) along with traditional main dishes. - Demonstrate expertise in cooking signature dishes such as Chicken, Mutton, and Beef Karahi, Nihari, Biryani, Paya, Chana, Haleem, Daal, and BBQ, among other Pakistani specialties. - Prepare popular traditional breakfast selections including Halwa Puri, Chana, Paya, Paratha, Aloo Paratha, Omelette, and other customary Nashta items. - Ensure that taste, food quality, portion sizes, and presentation of all dishes remain consistent at all times. - Adhere strictly to food safety protocols and uphold high standards of kitchen hygiene. - Manage and coordinate kitchen preparation activities efficiently, especially during peak business hours. - Maintain cleanliness and proper upkeep of all cooking utensils, kitchen equipment, and work surfaces. - Perform well both independently and collaboratively as part of the kitchen team. Requirements: - Proven experience working as a Pakistani traditional cook or chef. - In-depth knowledge of Pakistani spices, traditional recipes, and authentic cooking techniques. - Previous experience in a cafeteria, restaurant, hotel, or other commercial kitchen environment is preferred. - Must be hardworking, responsible, punctual, and reliable. - Ability to manage and execute high-volume orders efficiently without compromising quality. The position is full time, based in a cafeteria/restaurant in Manama, and food is provided. Preference will be given to candidates with proven experience in Pakistani cuisine preparation.
