Heavy Driver
Job Description
We are seeking a responsible and experienced Heavy Driver to operate heavy trucks and other commercial vehicles safely and efficiently for the transportation of goods, equipment, and materials to designated locations. The successful candidate must hold a valid heavy vehicle driving licence, have excellent driving skills, and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and timely delivery. Duties include inspecting vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are roadworthy, following traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations, loading and unloading cargo when required, maintaining accurate delivery records and logbooks, promptly reporting vehicle defects, accidents, or maintenance requirements, keeping the vehicle clean and in good working condition, and ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high safety standards. Candidates must have at least two years of experience as a Heavy Driver, good knowledge of road safety regulations and local routes, the ability to work flexible hours including overtime when required, and the physical fitness to handle loading and unloading duties. Basic communication skills in English are required, while Arabic language ability is an advantage. Candidates must also be responsible, punctual, and reliable.
