Marine Electrician
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Boat Technical Electrician for a full-time, permanent position in Al Hidd and other areas of Bahrain. The successful candidate will install, diagnose, maintain, and repair complex electrical and electronic systems across the marine fleet. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and isolating faults in AC and DC marine electrical circuits, wiring, switchboards, and distribution panels; installing, integrating, and configuring marine electronics such as GPS, radar, VHF radios, fishfinders, and audio and navigation equipment; maintaining and servicing onboard battery banks, charging systems, inverters, alternators, and shore power connections; and ensuring that all electrical installations strictly comply with marine safety standards to prevent corrosion, short circuits, and fire hazards. Applicants must have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience as a marine electrician or boat technical electrician, be highly capable of reading and interpreting marine electrical schematics and wiring diagrams, and preferably have experience with luxury boats, commercial vessels, or watersports crafts. Applicants must currently reside in Bahrain, hold a transferable visa, and be available to start immediately or at short notice. A good command of English is required for technical communication and documentation.
