Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Cook to support our culinary team in daily kitchen operations. The successful candidate will assist with food preparation, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and ensure that all food safety standards are met. Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards. - Assist the Head Chef in meal planning and preparation. - Ensure food presentation, taste, and consistency meet the restaurant standards set by the company. - Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, workstations, and equipment. - Follow food safety, hygiene, and kitchen safety procedures at all times. - Monitor ingredient stock levels and notify the Head Chef of any shortages. - Support the kitchen team during peak hours and special events. - Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Restaurant Supervisor. Applicants must currently be in Bahrain and available to join immediately. Job Type: Full-time
Requirements
- Motivated and reliable.
- Ability to prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards.
- Ability to assist with meal planning and preparation.
- Knowledge of food presentation, taste, consistency, food safety, hygiene, and kitchen safety procedures.
- Ability to maintain clean and organised workstations and equipment.
- Ability to monitor ingredient stocks and work effectively as part of a kitchen team during busy periods and special events.
