Recruitment: IT Executive (Development & Systems) We are seeking a highly capable, motivated IT professional to join our team as an IT Executive, with a focus on development, systems support, programming, and general IT operations. The role requires solid practical expertise across software development, application support, system maintenance, and day-to-day IT functions, while contributing to smarter and more efficient technology-driven solutions for the organisation. Position Title: IT Executive – Development & Systems Experience Required: 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in IT, software development, systems support, or related roles. Work Location: Bahrain Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, maintain, and continuously improve internal applications, systems, and digital solutions according to organisational and operational requirements. • Write clean, efficient, reliable, and maintainable code that supports business processes and internal system needs. • Support the full software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of applications. • Assist with the integration of software applications, databases, application programming interfaces (APIs), and third-party systems. • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues involving software, hardware, networks, user systems, and other IT infrastructure components. • Monitor, support, and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, including internal systems, business applications, and user account management. • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and implement suitable technology solutions to improve operational efficiency. • Participate in the development, updating, maintenance, and enhancement of websites, software applications, and databases. • Help maintain strong system security through data protection measures, regular backup practices, access controls, and secure system administration. • Provide technical support, guidance, and practical IT advice to users across different departments to ensure smooth daily operations. • Coordinate with external IT vendors, service providers, and technical partners whenever required to support the company’s IT needs. Candidate Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field is required. • 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in IT roles is required. • Strong coding ability and proven software or application development skills are required. • Practical experience with programming languages and technologies such as Python, JavaScript, PHP, Java, C#/.NET, HTML/CSS, SQL, or similar technologies is required. • Good understanding of databases, APIs, system integration, and modern web technologies is required. • Knowledge of networking concepts, hardware troubleshooting, software troubleshooting, Windows environments, and general IT support is required. • Strong analytical ability, troubleshooting capability, and problem-solving skills are required. • Ability to work independently, manage multiple IT tasks, and handle a range of technical priorities efficiently is required. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience or expertise in automation technologies will be an advantage. • Experience in application development will be an advantage. • Experience in system integration will be an advantage. • Experience in database administration or database management will be an advantage. • Knowledge of cloud computing technologies will be an advantage. • Understanding of cybersecurity principles will be an advantage. • Familiarity with hospitality industry systems will be considered a significant advantage.
