Job Description
Key Responsibilities Product Strategy & Line Management • Oversee, coordinate, and manage the full product lifecycle across commercial hardware categories, including desktops, notebooks, workstations, server racks, UPS systems, and enterprise printers. • Analyze current market trends and review vendor roadmaps in detail to identify opportunities for introducing new Stock Keeping Units (SKUs), developing solution bundles, and configuring enterprise hardware setups that align with customer requirements. • Define clear product positioning and develop structured, tiered pricing models designed to maintain competitive profit margins across commercial B2B sectors and public sector verticals. Vendor & Channel Operations • Work closely with vendor account managers from leading brands, including Dell, HP, Lenovo, APC, and other relevant vendors, to negotiate optimal pricing structures, manage deal registrations, and submit Special Price Requests (SPRs) to secure advantageous terms. • Monitor, track, and manage vendor rebate programs, special authorization initiatives, and sales targets in order to improve and strengthen the overall profitability of the product lines. • Collaborate in the co-management of partner portal compliance, maintain the required authorization levels, and ensure continued adherence to tier requirements across distribution channels. Inventory Planning & Margin Optimization • Partner with the procurement team to prepare accurate demand forecasts, determine suitable safety stock levels, and optimize inventory turnover rates across the relevant hardware categories. • Conduct regular audits of stock movement, monitor inventory aging, and design clearance or promotional strategies specifically for End-of-Life (EOL) products to reduce losses and improve stock efficiency. • Analyze competitor pricing in the Bahrain market as well as in regional markets, and use these insights to dynamically update and adjust company price lists for maximum competitiveness. Technical Presales & B2B Enablement • Serve as the in-house Subject Matter Expert (SME) for hardware specifications, compatibility matrices, and enterprise-level configurations in order to support multiple business functions. • Collaborate with presales engineers to carefully review and verify complex Bills of Materials (BoMs) related to enterprise Request for Proposals (RFPs), government tenders, and client-specific proposals. • Provide training and enablement support to B2B account managers, with a focus on key product differentiators, competitive battle cards, and effective cross-selling strategies to improve sales effectiveness. Qualifications & Skills • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration is required. • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of professional experience within Bahrain is required in roles such as IT product management, hardware procurement, or presales engineering, ideally within an IT system integrator or distributor environment. • Technical Knowledge: A strong demonstrated understanding is required of commercial PC architectures, enterprise server and storage configurations, power redundancy systems such as UPS, and Managed Print Services (MPS). • Core Competencies: Proven capabilities are required in Profit and Loss (P&L) management, effective vendor negotiation, strategic stock planning, tender evaluation processes, and the preparation of analytical reports.

- Minimum 5 years of professional experience within Bahrain in IT product management, hardware procurement, or presales engineering.
- Experience in an IT system integrator or distributor environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of commercial PC architectures, enterprise server and storage configurations, UPS power redundancy systems, and Managed Print Services.
- Skills in Profit and Loss (P&L) management, vendor negotiation, strategic stock planning, tender evaluation, and analytical reporting.
