Job Description
We are seeking a qualified carpenter to work at our construction sites. The role involves completing carpentry work according to project requirements, maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work area, and following company safety procedures and workplace regulations.
Requirements
- Qualified carpenter
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, and measurements
- Experience with doors, windows, cabinets, furniture, partitions, and wooden structures
- Proficiency in measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and installing wood and related materials
- Ability to repair, maintain, and renovate wooden fixtures and structures
- Ability to inspect work for proper fitting, finishing, quality, and durability
- Safe operation and maintenance of carpentry tools and equipment
- Ability to select materials efficiently and minimise wastage
- Ability to coordinate with supervisors and other trades
