Civil Site Supervisor
Job Description
Supervise and coordinate daily civil construction activities at project sites. Oversee site workers and subcontractors and ensure that work is completed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules. Responsibilities include monitoring site work; coordinating with Civil Engineers, Project Managers, consultants, and other site teams; reading and interpreting civil drawings, layouts, and technical specifications; monitoring construction progress and reporting delays, issues, and site requirements to management; conducting regular site inspections; ensuring proper workmanship and quality standards; ensuring the correct use of construction materials, tools, equipment, and manpower; coordinating material requirements and following up on site deliveries; maintaining daily site records, progress reports, manpower records, and quantity reports; identifying site problems and coordinating corrective actions with the engineering team; ensuring compliance with approved method statements, safety procedures, and Bahrain construction requirements; monitoring site housekeeping and maintaining a safe working environment; coordinating with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, architectural, structural, and finishing teams to prevent conflicts and delays; and assisting with inspections, snagging, rectification, and project handover activities.
Requirements
- Education
- Diploma Or Bachelor's Degree In Civil Engineering Or A Related Field.
- Experience
- 3 Years
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in civil construction or site supervision.
- Strong experience in building construction, villas, commercial projects, or high-rise projects.
- Good knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and site procedures.
- Ability to read and understand civil drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong site supervision and subcontractor coordination skills.
- Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Good knowledge of construction safety and quality requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Office is an advantage.
- Bahrain construction experience is preferred.
