Water Treatment Plant Operator
Job Description
Work at a bottled drinking water plant in Bahrain. The role includes operating and monitoring the complete water treatment process from raw well water through treatment, chemical dosing, blending, and preparation for bottling. Duties include operating reverse osmosis systems and related equipment; monitoring filtration and pre-treatment stages; preparing, mixing, and dosing water treatment chemicals according to approved ratios and procedures; handling mineral blending and water formulation; conducting and recording routine water quality tests and treatment readings; monitoring total dissolved solids, pH, conductivity, and other relevant parameters; ensuring treated water meets the required specifications before transfer to the bottling line; monitoring chemical tanks, dosing systems, pumps, filters, reverse osmosis membranes, and related equipment; maintaining accurate records of water treatment, chemical usage, dosing, and test results; identifying and reporting abnormalities and taking appropriate corrective action; and coordinating with bottling and production teams to ensure a continuous supply of treated water.
Requirements
- Experience
- 2 – 3 Years
- Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in a bottled drinking water plant.
- Previous experience operating water treatment systems in a bottled water factory.
- Practical experience with RO systems, filtration, chemical dosing, and water treatment processes.
- Experience in chemical mixing, mineral blending, and water formulation for drinking water.
- Good knowledge of water quality parameters and routine water testing.
- Ability to monitor and adjust treatment and dosing processes according to water quality results.
- Experience with water treatment chemicals and their safe handling.
- Ability to operate, monitor, and troubleshoot water treatment equipment.
- Good attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate treatment records.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
