Kitchen Equipment Maintenance Technician
Job Description
The Kitchen Equipment Maintenance Technician will regularly visit assigned stores and outlets to conduct inspections and preventive maintenance. The role involves maintaining and repairing kitchen equipment such as ovens, fryers, refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioning units; diagnosing equipment faults; and carrying out timely troubleshooting and repairs. The technician will ensure that all electrical, refrigeration, and mechanical systems function properly; respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns; complete preventive maintenance checklists; maintain service records; report major equipment issues; and recommend repair or replacement when necessary. The technician must ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and company standards; coordinate with store teams to minimise operational disruption; maintain tools; ensure the proper use of spare parts; and perform any other maintenance-related duties assigned by the Line Manager.

- Technical certificate or relevant maintenance experience as an alternative to a technical certificate.
- One to three years of experience in maintenance or a similar role.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general repair work.

- Air conditioning maintenance skills.
- Equipment troubleshooting skills.

- Ability to travel between stores and work flexible hours when required.
